About Ian Lashley

Ian Lashley

Ian Lashley is a seasoned business intermediary and broker with over 15 years of experience guiding clients through the sale, purchase, and acquisition of small to mid-sized businesses.

Prior to entering business brokerage, Ian spent more than 12 years working with numerous apparel brands in design, marketing, and sales. In 2003, he leveraged this experience to launch his own apparel sales and distribution company along with a men’s contemporary retail store. An early adopter of retail e-commerce, Ian expanded the business to offer merchandise worldwide. The company’s online store was successfully acquired by a Canadian undergarment company in 2010.

Following this exit, Ian transitioned into business brokerage in 2011, joining Sunbelt Business Brokers—the same firm that had represented the acquisition of his own company. He began his brokerage career at the Sunbelt Business Brokers Pasadena office, where he supported clients throughout the entire transaction process, including deal structuring, negotiation, due diligence, and the successful closing of business sales and acquisitions.

Ian later served with National Business Brokerage, overseeing client engagements, negotiating deal terms, managing due diligence, and successfully closing complex acquisitions and business transactions. His work has been recognized for its high level of professional competence and proficiency within the business brokerage industry.

In 2016, Ian obtained his broker’s license and founded The Lashley Group, where he continues to serve business owners and buyers with a practical, hands-on approach rooted in real-world operating experience, discretion, and results.

Jamie Lashley is a licensed California real estate agent with over a decade of experience, having been licensed since 2014. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2009 with a degree in Sociology and Communications and brings a strong foundation in real estate transactions, client coordination, and regulatory compliance, supporting buyers and sellers through smooth and well-organized closings.

In addition to her real estate practice, Jamie assists her husband, Ian Lashley, a licensed business broker, by providing administrative and transactional support on business brokerage engagements. Her role includes coordinating documentation, managing client communications, and supporting the overall transaction process while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Known for her attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability, Jamie plays a key role in ensuring transactions are handled efficiently and with care. Her combined experience in real estate and business brokerage operations makes her a valuable asset to clients and the brokerage team.

President / Managing Business Broker

Tony Clark is a business broker and real estate advisor with over 15 years of experience operating and scaling businesses. With a background in marketing and formal business training from Pepperdine University, Tony began his career at a private equity firm focused on real estate investing.

Since then, he has helped investors acquire more than $60 million in real estate assets. He has also purchased and sold multiple businesses and is currently scaling an event rental company that has achieved 200% year-over-year growth.

Tony specializes in business brokerage, multifamily and rental property investments, house-hacking strategies, and ADUs throughout Southern California. He is passionate about helping business owners increase the value of their companies and guiding investors toward smart, long-term real estate opportunities.
